A complaint against Dublin solicitor Gerald Kean has been dismissed by the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal.


A former client had alleged that Mr Kean, who represents a series of celebrity clients, failed to provide a letter outlining his legal fees as required under the Solicitors Amendment Act 2004.

But the complaint was dismissed after the Tribunal ruled Mr kean was entitled to the benefit of the doubt where there was a conflict between the parties over whether he had informed them of his legal fees by letter.
